Your knives will be sharpened by hand on Japanese natural and synthetic stones choosed for need of your knife. I will spend necessary time to achieve best cutting edge possible on your knife. It can be either 10 minutes or 3 hours. This is my hobby so I will not rush and I'll do my best. Do not send your precious knives to somebody who will use machine or grinding wheel to sharpen your blade. Japanese sharpeners are using same technique since hundreds of years.

Services
One of my favourites hobbys is making traditional Japanese knives handles. I am going to use materials chosen by you. Traditional handles are made from Ho wood (magnolia) and water buffalo horn ferrule. I love handles made out of exotic woods. Only your imagination can stop you. If you don't know what to choose then contact me, we're gonna choose something together. Making a handle is time absorbing because I have to do it between my full time work and other activities. Please check my gallery to see the handles I have finished.
I can make new saya (japanese sheath) for your blade. Saya is a great looking traditional cover. The best way of doing it is to send me your knife and I will make scabbard which will exactly fit to your knife. If you don't want to send me your knife you can give me detailed measurements and send me picture of your knife. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me.
I can also make small repairs on your knife like removal of small chips, broken tip repairs and more. Please contact me to discuss your problem. I keep the right to reject your enquiry depends on condition of the knife. Please look at some of my repair work in the gallery:
